The Central Government’s Pradhan Mantri Micro Food Processing Industry Upgradation Scheme supports the growth of agro-based food processing industry.
Capacity building of micro-enterprises, strengthening research and training of institutions in food processing sector, strengthening supply chain through branding and advertising, modernizing existing micro-processing industries and converting them into organized sectors etc are the objectives of scheme.
Applications can be made under this scheme for perishable agricultural products, cereal based products, fish farming, poultry farming and honey production.
Eligibility –
- Proprietor, Pvt. Ltd., Partnership, Group, FPC, SHG, Co-Operative can apply for scheme
- Educational Qualification: Minimum 8th Pass
- Age Criteria: Minimum 18 Age
- Bank: Any Nationalized, Schedule or Private Bank
- Bank loan: 90 %
- Own Contribution: 10 %
Project Cost-
- Manufacturing Project 1 to 1 Cr.
Subsidy –
- 35% up to 10 lakh
- 100% for incubation centre
