The Chief Minister’s Employment Generation Program (CMEGP) of the State Government is implemented by the District Industry Centre and the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program (PMEGP) of the Central Government by the Khadi Gramodyog Mandal.
These schemes support the setting up of new industries as well as modernization of existing industries.

For manufacturing business, a maximum of Rs. 50 lakh and for service industry business Rs. 20 lakhs can be applied up to the limit.
The subsidy received by the government is deposited in the bank account designated by the Directorate of Industries.
Eligibility –
- Educational Qualification: Minimum 8th Pass
- Age Criteria: Minimum 18 Age
- Bank: Any Nationalized, Privet & Schedule Bank loan compulsory
- Bank loan: 90-95 %
- Own Contribution: 5-10 %
Project Cost-
- Service business 1 to 10 lakh
- Manufacturing business 1 to 25 lakh (min. building & Machinery 60% WC 40% Max.)
Subsidy –
Rural Area: –25% for Open Category & 35% for OBC/SC/ST/Women applicant
Urban Area: –15% for Open Category & 25% for OBC/SC/ST/Women applicant
PMEGP – Total Sanctioned proposals – 3.34 Crores
Other Work in progress – 28 Crores
CMEGP – Total work done – 4.56 Crores
